Meharry Clinical College or university is proud to announce that Rosemary Nabaweesi, DrPH, MBChB, has been named the Robert Wooden Johnson Basis endowed chair of well being plan in the Center for Health Policy at MMC.

Dr. Nabaweesi, a well being solutions research pro, will help the College’s expanded endeavours to use well being plan, implementation and group-engaged research to tackle African American injuries-similar childhood disparities and schooling inequities. Dr. Nabaweesi arrives to Meharry from the College of Arkansas for Clinical Sciences where by she served for seven several years as an assistant professor of pediatrics and five several years as an adjunct assistant professor for well being plan and administration. She also served as senior director for research and analysis in the Division of Range, Equity and Inclusion. Her educational qualifications features an M.D. from the Makerere College Faculty of Medication, Uganda’s premier and oldest public university. She also attained a Grasp of Public Health with a focus in reproductive and inhabitants well being and a doctorate in well being plan administration, both from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Faculty of Public Health.
